In 2017, “Mommy Rose” gathered children in her village for a simple yet powerful gift—storytime. With books about the sun and moon, she read aloud, sparking laughter, curiosity, and imagination. That day, the children didn’t just receive books—they discovered the joy of learning and the power of storytelling.

In southeastern Liberia, too many women and children are dying needlessly due to the lack of healthcare. With your support, KEDO is working to change this by building a clinic that will bring hope, healing, and a future for families in crisis.

On April 17, 2017, history was made in Kpalo-Bli, Liberia, as we broke ground for the long-awaited community health clinic. This marks the beginning of Project Save Women and Children, a vital effort to bring life-saving care to one of the most underserved regions in West Africa.
